Cancellation policy

This Cancellation Policy explains how order cancellations are handled for purchases made through Alcura.
It applies specifically to order cancellations and should be read independently from our Refund & Returns Policy and Money-Back Guarantee Policy.

Cancellations are time-sensitive and are not guaranteed once processing or fulfillment has begun.

1. Cancellation Window

Orders may only be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase.

If a cancellation request is submitted after the 12-hour window, Alcura is not liable to cancel the order, regardless of the reason.

Once an order has entered processing, fulfillment, or shipment, it can no longer be cancelled.

2. Orders Already Processed or Shipped

If an order has already:
•    Entered processing
•    Been fulfilled
•    Been shipped

It is no longer eligible for cancellation, even if the request is submitted within 12 hours.

In such cases, customers must refer to the Refund & Returns Policy or Money-Back Guarantee Policy, where applicable.

3. “I Don’t Recall Ordering This” / Buyer Responsibility

All orders placed through Alcura are considered authorized by the customer at the time of purchase.

Requests stating that:
•    The customer does not recall placing the order
•    The order was placed by mistake
•    The customer did not intend to purchase

Do not qualify for a refund or return on their own.

These requests are treated strictly as cancellation requests and are subject to:
•    The 12-hour cancellation window, and
•    The order’s fulfillment status at the time of review

Failure to recall placing an order does not override this policy.

This clause exists to protect against confusion-based claims, buyer remorse, and friendly fraud.

4. Subscriptions

Some products may be offered as subscriptions.

When purchasing a subscription:
•    You agree to recurring charges based on the selected frequency
•    Payment details are stored securely
•    Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled

You may cancel or modify a subscription at any time before the next billing cycle using the link provided in your order confirmation email.

Subscription cancellations do not apply retroactively to orders that have already been processed or shipped.

Refunds related to fulfilled subscription orders are governed by the Refund & Returns Policy.

5. Pre-Orders

When purchasing a pre-order:
•    The item may not yet be in inventory
•    Payment may be partially or fully collected at checkout

You may cancel a pre-order only if it has not yet been fulfilled.

Once a pre-order has been fulfilled or shipped, it is no longer eligible for cancellation and must be handled under the Refund & Returns Policy, where applicable.

6. Try Before You Buy

For “Try Before You Buy” purchases:
•    Your payment method is authorized before shipment
•    You are given a defined evaluation period

If the product is not returned within the stated timeframe, your payment method will be charged in full.

Cancellations are not available once the evaluation period has begun.

7. No Liability After Cancellation Window

If a cancellation request:
•    Is submitted after 12 hours, or
•    Is submitted after processing or shipment begins

Alcura is not responsible for:
•    Buyer remorse
•    Change of mind
•    Failure to recall ordering
•    Accidental purchases

8. Policy Enforcement

All cancellation decisions are made based on:
•    Time of request
•    Order status
•    System verification

We reserve the right to deny cancellation requests that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.
